Cakes and Cupcakes

Please note that we are not a gluten-free or nut-free facility.  While we do the best we can, there is always the possibility of cross-contact.  â€‹â€‹
Step 1 — Size

6” serves 5-6 

8” serves 10-12 

10” serves 20-24 

All cakes are three layers of cake and two layers of filling, with the exception of mousse cakes.  Mousse cakes are two layers of cake, with a filling between, and topped with a thick layer of mousse piped on top.

We also make tiered cakes, with our smallest two tier cake serving 30.

Cupcakes are ordered by the dozen, with each dozen being the same flavor cake.  You can do one or two flavors of frosting, either all 12 the same or doing 6 of one flavor and 6 of another.

Other Flavors may be made on baker’s whim, by request, or seasonally. 

 

Step 3 — Filling

If you don’t want a filling, we will use whatever frosting is selected between the layers.  If you select one filling, we will use the buttercream along with the filling (unless it’s pastry cream.) We can use up to two fillings per layer, but some do not combine well in flavor or texture, in which case, we’ll put them in two separate layers.  In the case of cupcakes, filling is an optional upcharge.

Step 4 — Frosting Type

Italian Meringue Buttercream - very buttery, smooth, not very sweet

American Buttercream - much sweeter, more typical “frosting” texture

Vegan Buttercream - similar to American but made with plant butter 

Cream Cheese Frosting - available in vanilla or orange

Mousse - creamy and fluffy, piped high on top of two layers of cake

 

Step 5 — Frosting Flavor

Please note that caramel can not be made vegan.  Caramel and maple are VERY sweet when made as American buttercream.

Step 6 — Writing (only for cakes)

Would you like anything written on top?  Do you have specifics on how you’d like it to look?  Color? If we’re matching specific colors, could you please email us those colors or what we’re matching?

—In the case of mousse, we will write on the board, rather than the top of the cake.  

—In the case of cream cheese frosting, we will need to write in ganache, apricot preserves, strawberry preserves, or raspberry preserves.  

 

Step 7 — Event & Decoration Requests

What are you celebrating?  Is there a theme?  What is the age of the recipient?  Do you have specific design or color choices you’d like us to use? While we do not do any pictures, logos, or shaped cakes, we are happy to match color schemes and the vibe of the celebration.

Return Policy: 

While we strive to provide only high quality baked goods, we aren’t perfect and mistakes happen.  If you find that your order has something wrong, please notify us right away so that we can take steps to fix it.  If a problem occurs after you leave the bakery, please notify us within 48 hours.  If you should need to return an item, the product will need to be brought back to the bakery. 

Returns and cancelled orders can be refunded to the original form of payment or to a gift card.  In the case of a return to a credit card, a 4% fee will be deducted from the return to cover the processing fees.
